රටටම QR – “RDB QR”
RDB launches “RDB QR” facility to their Merchant Customers on 15th December 2021 at RDB Panadura Branch.
This facility is provided to the merchant community (vendors of goods and services) who have account with RDB Bank .The customer who buys goods or services from the seller can pay for the goods through a QR App of another bank which he/ she has. The money will be credited to the RDB account of the relevant seller.
Accordingly, all customers who have App facility of another bank can buy goods and services from a vendor with RDB QR and require to display QR Code submitted by bank at their business place.
Vendors have to submit completed application form along with the leaflet to relevant branch and require to display RDB QR submitted by bank at their business premises.
Payment will be confirmed via SMS as soon as the transaction is made. In addition, the Mobile app provided by the bank to the vendor allows to view the details of each transaction in detail.
Benefits of using RDB QR
- Cost less than the transactions made by Credit and Debit Cards
- Easier to use and less risky than using cash.
